WHAT MAKES A NATION

The actual definition of a nation is a large group of people with strong bonds of identity - a tribe on a grand scale. National identity is based on shared culture, religion, history, language and ethnicity, GENES/RACE. The nation has a claim to statehood or self-rule, and should enjoy a state (territory/country) of its own.
